Ella Labrum and Halle Dixon each scored their first goal of the season as the BYU women's soccer team bounced back from a two-match losing skid with a 2-0 win over Boise State.
Following losses to No. 9 UCLA and No. 11 Utah State, the Cougars (2-2-2) rolled out a young starting lineup that also featured freshmen Emma Hambelrin, Tylie Pratt and Abby Sine in their first career starts.
The win also snapped Boise State’s three-game winning streak to start the season in a chippy matched that featured 22 fouls given and three yellow cards.
