OREM, Utah (Sept. 25, 2025) — Nixan Jackson had two goals and an assist, and Faith Webber added a brace as Utah Valley women’s soccer opened Western Athletic Conference play with a 5-0 home win over Tarleton State.
Ruby Hladek also scored for the Wolverines (5-4-1, 1-0 WAC), who got the one-save shutout from Leah Wolf and 20 minutes of relief from goalkeeper Mia Roberts.
After perhaps the most difficult nonconference schedule in program history, Utah Valley opened its defense of another conference regular-season title with the team’s first clean sheet since a 2-0 win over in-state rival Utah in the season opener Aug. 18.
“We put together a full 90 minutes tonight,” UVU coach Chris Lemay said. “I was really happy with the ball movement, our anticipation, and the decisions we made. We had great movement off the ball, which allowed us to create so many chances.”
